Hebe townsonii, also known by its synonym Veronica townsonii, is a New Zealand native evergreen shrub known for its attractive, narrow, light green leaves and showy white to pale lilac flowers in spring. It typically grows to about 1 meter in height and width, forming a bushy, rounded shape. The plant is relatively easy to grow, tolerating full sun or partial shade and a range of soil types as long as they are free-draining.
