Pear \’Taylor’s Gold\’ is a mid-to-late season European pear (Pyrus communis) with a russeted, golden-cinnamon skin, tender ivory-cream flesh, and a sweet, aromatic, juicy flavor. It is a New Zealand-discovered mutation of the Comice pear, best grown in full sun with cross-pollination from varieties like \’Beurre Bosc\’ or \’Winter Nelis\’. Cultivation involves annual pruning, regular watering, and protection from frost and wind to produce a medium-sized, upright tree that is also suitable for espalier training.

Appearance: Features a distinctive bronze or golden-cinnamon coloured, russeted skin.
Flesh: Tender, ivory-cream, and very juicy.
