$50.00

The Braeburn apple is a popular, late-season variety known for its crisp, juicy, and aromatic flesh, with a distinctive sweet-tart flavor and a hint of cinnamon. It is a medium to large-sized apple with a conic shape and a yellow skin blushed with red stripes. Braeburns are excellent for fresh eating, apple sauce, and juice, but can become too soft for pies.

Cultivation Guide

Braeburn trees are vigorous and tend to spread, producing fruit relatively early in their lifespan. They thrive in warm, sunny areas with long hours of sunlight. Braeburns require a significant amount of chill hours (below 7 degrees Celsius) to set fruit properly, as well as long, hot summers. They are partially self-fertile, but cross-pollination with other varieties like ‘Fuji’ or ‘Granny Smith’ is recommended for optimal yields. Braeburns are known for their good storage capabilities.
