The “Peach Glow Haven” is actually the Glohaven peach, a variety producing large, freestone peaches with a sweet, juicy, yellow flesh, a golden background with a red blush, and a nearly fuzz-less, firm skin that resists browning and bacterial spot. To cultivate it, plant in a well-drained, sunny spot in USDA hardiness zones 5-9, requiring regular pruning and annual thinning to ensure good crops.

Fruit:
The Glohaven peach is a large, circular, and very uniform fruit. Its skin is predominantly red, covering a golden-yellow background, and is described as “nearly fuzz-less”. The flesh is a beautiful golden color, firm, sweet, and juicy. It is a freestone peach, meaning the pit easily separates from the flesh.

Tree:
The tree is moderately vigorous and productive. It can grow to a mature height of 15-20 feet and produces fragrant pink flowers in mid-spring.

Yield:
The tree is self-fertile, though planting it near another peach variety with a similar bloom time can increase crop size. The fruit hangs well on the tree, and its firm flesh is resistant to browning, making it excellent for canning and preserving.

Disease Resistance:
The Glohaven peach is known for its resistance to bacterial spot.
