The fruit is large, sweet, and juicy with a firm texture, making it excellent for eating fresh, bottling, stewing, and especially for dehydrating due to its high aroma and flavour. The skin has a characteristic red tint over a golden-orange background.

It is a vigorous, upright, deciduous tree that can grow to a height and width of about 4 meters by 3 meters.

Self-Fertile:Trevatt is self-fertile and will produce fruit on its own, but planting a pollinator like the ‘Sundrop’ apricot variety nearby will result in a more bountiful and regular harvest.
